ABOUT DISTRICT COURT
District Court, Bageshwar was established on February 29, 2000. It is a hilly district, located on the confluence of Saryu and Gomti rivers. Bageshwar was made a separate Tehsil in 1974, and in 1976 it was declared a pargana, after which, in September 1997, Bageshwar was made the new district of Uttar Pradesh.
At present 5 Courts and one out-lying Court are functioning in Judgeship Bageshwar.

Sri. R.K. Singh was appointed as the first District Judge of Judgeship Bageshwar.

Separate Bar Bhawan and canteen facility is also available near the Court building.
